Bit too hard to tell on that photo as not enough magnification. But thrips would look like that, do a search on the internet to see what they look like magnified.

thrips are usually not white, kinda light brown or black. but there are so-o many different kinds.. if you can make out many legs and very narrow sigar shape , it could be immature thrips..

not clear enough to see. but it looks like white fly to me. disturb them, see if they take off or 'jump' - then it is likely white fly. immature thrips are very sluggish, white fly is sluggish too, but they do 'take off'.

Thanks both! After looking those two up, I think they might be thrips. Any tips on getting rid of them?

when i had thrips indoors the only thing that worked was systemic (imadocloprid). and i had to treat all plants , since by the time i figured it out they infested many.

they drop into soil after feeding on leaves anf then come out as flying insects - at this point they spread around. have you noticed any sluggish small flyers? they are very similar to gnats.
