I've noticed that, too. Years ago, if you didn't check it twice daily, it was easy to miss good info.

A lot of tomato stuff, and vegetable stuff in general get buried in the relatively recent monthly "Veggie Tales" threads in the Vegetable Gardening forum. Nice stuff there, but it all lands there without titles, so nothing posted there is really that conspicuous, and individual questions sort of get lost. At least for Q&A and focused discussion, organization by title works better than organization by month.

I thought that people were just out gardening and enjoying their maters! I know that I am :).

I agree with Dan that that thread on the veggie list encompasses everything. I find it annoying because it takes so long to download, and there is tons of scrolling to do. Too bad that people don't take the time to start new threads there :(.

Back in the olden days of the internet, forums didn't have threads. So a threadless forum is really kind of an old-timey kickback.

Not that it is the only issue but I agree with the comment that the one monthly thread on Vegetable Gardening is full of questions and info that would better serve all if posted on the respective forums and as individual threads. Not only is the info in it now not searchable in any way but the end result of any "All-Purpose" discussion is to draw activity away from the other forums and discussions.
