Howdy all,
The newest leaves on my plumerias are starting to come out with a quilted or puckered texture. The leaf surface is raised between the veins. The leaves were smooth and shiny until recently. It's happening on all (four) of my plants. I'm guessing that they've run out of some nutrient. Growth has been rapid up to this point, six to eight inches, with good color to the foliage, though the newest growth is lighter.
I fertilize with a miracid type and added Epsom salt. I gave them some Osmocote at the beginning of the season. My water is hard, high in calcium. Three of the four have inflos. One, Devine, had some small, stunted flowers when it first started flowering. Now all the inflos have sort of dead ended, with lots of little places where flower buds should be. I don't have a way to post pix, which would be helpful, I know.
Thanks for your help. Steve
