Love this kitchen and am looking to install something similar, I can't seem to find the correct size cover panel for the back of the island bench. I notice that you have run the grain in a vertical direction for this area could you tell me which size panels you bought to do this please, I can only find 600 wide panels.

Thanks very much! I believe the panel we used was 3'x8' appliance or wall panel, which we may have cut to width, and the grain does go the opposite way but we didn't mind the contrast.

how does this type of kitchen feel to the touch? we do not have an ikea close to us so have to rely on internet buying. thanks also what are the upper cabinets? IKEA

All cabinets are Ikea. The upper doors are Rubrik, a frosted glass on white boxes. The lower doors are Sofielund, a wood-look veneer, and have a raised linear texture. These lower doors are mounted on birch boxes. Thanks for asking and good luck!
