The large rolling door was done at the time the house was built by the architect Rob Paulus, who designed it then had it custom built by a local metal shop. The gate at the front door was designed by the homeowner, based on Rob's design, about 3 years ago. It was also made by a metal worker for about $2,000. It is based on simple angles and uses standard metal elements, and hangs in a commercial metal door roller track.
