This 'ring' was sod bound when I bought the house, solid with lilies and barely a bloom. I want it moved over a few feet. When I dug it up, I noticed there were 2 kinds of lilies, a larger one in the center and smaller yellow ones, all were just a big solid clump, grown together for who knows how long. I figured the larger one would be sort of a center piece with the smaller ones on the outside, so I put a couple of the large bulbs in the center and a couple smaller ones in 3 places radially out from the center. Came out nice and they'll have some room to increase for a while in the ring.
