Repotting Question

As I suspected, the pubicalyx that I acquired is a hot mess. It looks like it was originally 3 plants. I unwound all the vines. The soil was filled with dried flowers, so it must have been a good bloomer. There are a lot of dead stubs at the base, but each individual plant has healthy looking vines. My question is should I take all the healthy stems and start one new healthy plant, or cut off all the dead stubs, rinse off the dirt and repot it? I love a good plant challenge, and I've got one!
