I think the OP is asking about the entry rug not a dining rug. To me the rug looks fine, but it would be nice to see some more color in the adjoining rooms (maybe with more art) to make things flow. I actually like the idea of also adding a colorful dining room rug like everdebz posted.

If a gallery set over the sofa would be a doable project: could try them in a mix.

The entry rug is a wonderful choice! I'd suggest carrying the colors into the adjoining spaces in pillows, a bowl (or something) on the coffee table, a single large artpiece over the sofa, a tall vase in mustard, in the corner to the left of the t.v., a centerpiece for the dining table...

You have large empty walls. Art can help solve that problem.
Your accessories are too small. If you place three small related items together, they will have more interest., but you need some larger and taller pieces, too.
Your floors and furniture are dark. The living room rug is pale. You need some mid-range-color to connect the dark and the light, along with pieces of various heights to balance the heaviness of the furniture. Floor lamps and table lamps can add light and form to the mix.
The entry rug is a good start on a color scheme. You can add some colorful accessories in those colors.

The color is nice, but you need to add color around the room as well, and not just in the entryway.

Honestly, don’t like it, to me it looks cheap. If u want color then look for nice art on the walls, pillows etc... :)
