North facing rooms looks great in Green, only make sure it's a warm shade (with added yellow).

Also do not be afraid to experiment with the slightly darker Shades of green, since you are using off white furniture it would create a good balance.

It does look to be a yellow biased green. Are you keeping your carpet?

I think greens and greys look great together.

What aspect is the room? Also, as your walls are yellow you can't get a true reading of a colour on them as anything neutral will read as violet. Slap some white paint on first. In North facing rooms they have a cool blue light and this dramatically affects the feel of the room. Saturated colours are sometimes required to break through the greyness of North rooms.

Oh HU I’m going through the same dilemma and have received great advice from Houzzers. My chimney breast wall is turning into a patchwork of greens and greys and I’m drowning in tester pots! I’ve tried F&B greens, a couple of Dulux ones and now trying Laura Ashley. I really like LA paint, very good coverage, but not found the right shade yet. I’m liking their Eau de nil but it’s quite dark so I’m going to try Pale Eau de nil. My favourite so far is F&B Cromarty...........good luck with your search!

How do you intend to "fill up the archway" in your chimney breast?

I wanted a green-grey that wasn’t overly green for a bedroom and Jurassic Stone from Dulux is actually quite nice.
