What I mean to say is: it's the garage. Feel free to have some fun with it. What's your favorite color? What all do you store (eg do you need to hide grease smears? Black scuff marks?) What color are you cars? Do you have favorite sports teams?

I agree with grey. Depending on how the garage is used, they may end up being that color anyway.

It's a garage. I'd go down to Lowes and buy whatever's marked down to $5. They always have a good selection of neutrals. When we put our old house on the market, I painted all the interior rooms for something like $30.

Ours is basic white. Adds some brightness and touch-up is really easy. Shelving keeps most items off the floor.
