Fiddle Fig only growing leaves on one side!

Hey guys!
I have a Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree that was given to me and it unfortunately only grows leaves on one side (probably because the previous owner never turned it). Does anyone have any opinions of what I should do? Also - it is too tall and bends unless I tie it up. Would love some advice!
