That looks like the deer netting I buy to cover my chicken pens. There are two kinds, one is very flimsy and one is thicker.

Try American Nettings.

Birds WILL get caught up in that netting unless it is FIRMLY tied down to something so it doesn't move. I've even had a few snakes tangled up in them.

well...searching Peavey a little it doesn't look the same, mine is 1/4" opening Peayey's is 1/2", called plastic chicken wire.

Just saw this post. I was using that netting, but found it didn't work.

I found a youtube video by Self Sufficient me. Here is his link. He is in Australia and uses, I believe, door screen. You'll have to find the specific video on this. We bought at HD. Used it by cutting small squares and tying around the fruit. The squirrels caught on and, at the end, were slipping the fruit out. Next year I will wrap the entire tree. No fruit now.

Mine was in a large roll, it is black and called deer fencing and was 7 feet wide. There are two kinds of deer fencing a thin type which is useless and breaks way to easy and then a thicker variety that I put as a bird covering on my greenhouse. The birds were getting thru the regular netting on my roll up sides and eating my grapes and black berries.

Cicada netting is usually 1/4"
