This bathroom has an awkward amount of space and a large bright tub surround. I wanted to visually fill the space and downplay the large tub surround, and the best I could come up with to accomplish this was wainscoting. I didn't want to spend too much on this bathroom, so I used 1/2" thick trim pieces from Menards to frame it out and just painted the walls white. I made some "eh" choices in the execution, some of them only I would notice. However, it was a quick project that came in at about $200 (not including tools owned). I have a few more updates to do, but this project is otherwise complete :-)
