Need help with deck design without railing. Maybe Arbors?

We are getting 4 panel sliders to replace the back slider and 2 large windows. This will open up our house the outside. We need a deck and want it flush with the sliders, but one with character. No need for railings. Considering an arbor for a portion of the deck. Can you please help!! WE NEED MORE CHARACTER!
