Sometimes an area rug will pull the room together. I prefer to buy mine locally, because seeing them in person is better (and my dealer has better pricing than online). Home goods usually has a nice selection at affordable prices. Make sure it’s big enough to have the front feet of the sofas on the rug (or larger). Pull the sofas away from the walls if you can. It makes a cozier conversation area.
