      I see the pictures just fine! The trees look great, Steve. You and mother nature gave them what they needed to thrive and push out that much growth. I am really impressed with the growth from the seed grown Meiwa Kumquat.

      Steve, beautiful, beautiful!! I love your idea with the white pots! All the sun they can get without ever a worry about over heating the roots. Good thinking and nice looking trees. You have more on your roof top than I do. lol

      What kind of home do you have that allows you to put plants and soil on your roof like that? Is it a ranch? Is the whole house a flat roof? Can I see? How do you keep the weight of everything including snow from collapsing in? Wow bud.

      Absolutely beautiful Steve! Anytime I see trees or plants being grown on rooftops, I always feel happier and inspired to grow something so I hope people will see them from below and start growing something too

      the dirt on the rooftop is 2 inches deep and the figs and plants are in dirt 18 inches deep

      Steve do you have skylights in your living room, so you can keep an eye on your tree,s. One nice thing about your set up, no deer, raccoon and more.

      Raccoons go up on my roof regularly. One year they dug up 2 blue berry plant from my roof looking for grubs under the roots. No skylight.

      I assume you are not worry about leaks because of roots.It is a nice set up for sure but scary for me, got to leave it up to you you get a lot of stuff from your rooftop garden.

      I have a rubber roof that has a 10-15 year life expectancy. When the rubber is kept cool and in the dark the life expectancy increases to about 40-50 years At the shorter end of its life expectancy I will be 93 years old and 103 if it last 40 years. My wife will be 99 or 109 years old then. We will not be here at our lower ages with 1 flight of steps to get to the basement and 2 more flights of steps to get to the bed room/bathroom.

      Meiwa is one off my favorite trees. I love the fruits. They are like sweet plums for me. My tree is doing very well right now with a bunch of fruits.

      Your tree is very nice looking. Do you know what rootstock it is on. Meiwa kumquats are very hard to grow for most of us including me.

      sunshine, I just took some pictures. Hope you'll be able to see it with all the crowd around it. I have a lot of plants and have to keep them in groups so the wind doesn't knock them over easily. ))
