In my mother-in-laws house she has one guest bedroom with a full size bed (oh how I wish it were a queen!) and one with the twin beds. When my husband and I were first married and visiting we were given the full size room since we were newlyweds. My sister-in-law and her husband had to push the twin beds together - so that could be an option, maybe, if you only have one guest room?

I'm not pushing beds together. Even married couples can sleep apart for the few days they visit. So it's either a queen or 2 twins. You're nicer than I am. I want my guests to be comfortable, but not so much.

As a guest I would want the twins.

Interesting. With the last of my offspring off to adulting I re-did a room for guests. When the girls shared there were twins in the room. I was anxious to get a queen in there for anticipated couples as we move into the next phase of life. I didn't even consider twins. I guess the premise is not what I would prefer. Adults who do not live together probably don't care to share a room let alone a bed., BUT if I had two twins in that room my son wouldn't end up on the fold out couch when we have a full house. hmmmmm
