Bathroom remodel:question about material used for cabinets and drawers

Our home was built in 1984. We are remodeling our master bathroom. I have a ton of built in cabinets and drawers. We decided to replace the cabinet doors and have new drawers made. These will be painted. We are concerned about potential warping and something that can withstand moisture and something that takes oil based paint that will not chip. What do you recommend we use? We have been given many options, such as MDF, MDF covered with plywood veneer, and a variety of different woods. Please advise. Thank you.

Wood door and drawer fronts and plywood drawer boxes will work just fine. You could also consider MDF if painted by a pro-finish shop.

By the time you replace all of that, you will not have saved any money over just replacing. There is nothing wrong with furniture board or MDF materials. Oil paint though? That is not is not an appropriate modern cabinet finishing material. Replace with all new cabinets and you can have the factory tough conversion varnish finish.
