The first thing we picked when we signed our contract and had consensus on as a couple was cambria brittanica for our kitchen island . Later during the design selections, our countertop company told us that they cannot guarantee that we’ll hv prominent veins in the slab for our island. And it is designed by a fabricator and it is totally up to them how they have to cut it. We are doing with a 9 by 5 island and are now concerned if we’ll hv the beautiful island we envisioned and if it would be worth the splurge. Our company said they can request but again it is not guaranteed.
We looked at other options but my husband and I just cant seem to think of anything else than Brittanica
There wont be seams but the veins are what we are concerned about.
Any advices and words of caution ?

Also, we picked celestial (i dont know the brand) for our perimeter. We are going with white cabinets. Any suggestions for the backsplash please?
