What size area rug?

Looking for an area rug for our great room. The room measurements are in the picture. The sectional we have is 10' x 10' x 4'5" (chaise). The whole main floor (minus the bedroom) is wood. We're not sure if we need to get an 8x10, 9x12, or 10x14. Thoughts? Thanks!

Kulrn, do you mean behind the sofa on the right side or at the top of the sofa (as pictured? I kind of like the 10x14 rotated 90 degrees. Even a 9x12 would work as well.
