Is this an American snout caterpillar?

I love these butterflies. They are (at least for me) the friendliest ones. Always landing on me and staying a while. Never found their caterpillars. Is this one?

He is. There are so many green caterpillars. I am having a hard time telling them apart.

There seem to be more this year. Maybe because most of the hackberries are still looking good? Usually by this time they get a lot of wooly aphids. Come to think of it, my milkweed doesn’t have the orange aphids yet either.
