Question - most vanities I've come across come with a backsplash. So how does that work when you're planning on tiling your bathroom? Does the tile just go around the backsplash? Seems like the vanity backsplash and the tile backsplash would clash. I can't be the first person to come across this issue. Any advice?

Rant - I know a lot of people who prefer single handed faucets. So why do the vast majority of vanities come with 3 pre drilled holes? It seems crazy that manufacturers don't give you the option to drill the additional holes or not. This isn't an issue with kitchen sinks.... How do others get around this?
