Sewing Design Dilemma

How To Sew This? Please Help!

My mom is trying to figure out how to sew a specific way and I know nothing about sewing. She asked me if I could help her by going to a forum to see if anyone could help us out. Does she need a specific sewing machine? Does she need a specific attachment?What is this stitching even called? Any help would be great! Thank You! I will be attaching an image of what she wants to do.

Looks like a hem stitch to me.....it is just a setting on your sewing machine..might need to change out the foot too.

Yes, it's a blind hem stitch. Modern machines have this but I just do it by hand. Instructions can be found on the website with initials Y..Tube.

That is a blind hem stitch sewn by a specific blind hem machine. It can be somewhat duplicated by either a standard zig zag machine with a blind hem setting or by hand, but it will look a little different. From the front side they will all appear very similar.

An ordinary sewing machine will not come close to replicating that stitch. It's made by a commercial blindstitch machine, using a curved needle and a single thread.
