Pool deck/waterline tile/pebble finish colors

Pool/backyard is part of a total inside/outside renovation. I am contracted for the following finishes with the pool contractor and would love to hear what you think. I picked out Carrara marble leathered-finish pavers for the pool deck laid in a French pattern, the white 1x1 porcelain tile shown for the waterline tile, and French Gray Pebble Tec for the pool interior finish. On the white 1x1 waterline tile I can't decide between SGM Dove Gray or SGM Charcoal Black for the grout.

I think the marble will look best with a waterline look that isn't high contrast. I'd go light with the grout. Of your options I'd choose Dove Gray, but personally I'd do silver or possibly even lighter.

Existing pool - photo is cut off at the bottom..it's a symmetrical trapezoid. The ugly ladder will be removed.

I think you may be right. The grout color card didn't come out right in that photo. I'll try again..

Now I'm between Dove Gray VS Silver. I think any lighter than Silver is just too tough for a pool as far as maintaining its color.

What did you decide? I am grouting my pool waterline and trying to decide what to do. I have a light glass waterline tile, that looks almost white/off white and I'm trying to decide if I go with a dove gray or lighter gray like silver. Send photos!
