It looks like nummelaria to me. The thing is that any species of Dischidia, Hoya, and I'm sure many others have different characteristics in different environments. I've grown D. nummelaria - got it from one of the box stores and it looked much like the photo. After some time in my care, the leaves were much fatter, more succulent than in the photo. And instead of the leaves being smooth, thin and shiny, mine were fat and matte. VERY big difference!!

How I wish I had pics of the nummelaria I bought and how it looked after! You would see what I mean. It looked exactly like your first photo. When it finally bloomed, I took this photo, which looks nothing like its original self...

Here are a couple pictures of my nummularia plants. The leaves are pretty flat. I have one that has a lot of blooms and one with just a few. They were purchased at the same time and have been under the same lights.

Do you mind sharing what growing medium you use? I would prefer something I can put in a terra cotta pot -- I can't mount them.

I have had these for a few years so I can't remember exactly what I used. I looked in the pots, and It looks like I surrounded the roots with orchid bark. They are in clay pots and are very happy. I sometimes take clippings and use them in succulent gardens that I plant as gifts. I should mention that they are in an indoor greenhouse under lights.

If you like round leaves, you would like hoya serpens, hoya chouke, and hoya mathilde too. These all have cute little round leaves and they bloom (if you are lucky).

And little heart shaped leaves... Hoya curtisii (beautifully patterned as well) and Hoya krohniana...
