I would think about moving the hot tub away from the pool.

Love the design. How will the pool be placed in regards to your deck? Hot tub closer to the house? or on the opposite side?

Jessica.. the hot tub would be on the opposite side of the deck. Tanning ledge closer to deck. We're building an outdoor kitchen/ covered area with a fireplace. In the actual picture of the pool design if you look really close (terrible picture you can see the slab for the plan)

K Laurence... the hot tube will be opposite of my house. We are planning a waterfall next it will be elevated. I also like simple lines!!! To me it looked better on my graph paper than it does in the actual computer model. I'm trying to figure out how to have a large shallow end plus diving. Thank you so much for your response!

Mandybeck, I truly love the graph and model. Since you are putting the tub facing the house I would consider a sheer descent for and extra touch- I am currently adding one to my pool design I can answer questions if you have any- also... we have a tanning ledge and truly believe you will love it so keep it- the design is very modern. Which I think its stunning- my question is... does it match your house? if you have more of a traditional design the simple rock around the tub would help "tie" the look.

Have you checked with your insurance about having a diving board? Many companies won't provide coverage if you have one as they are considered very dangerous.

Are you dead set on the hot tub? We dislike ours immensely. I know you get a lot of pros and cons but we take care of our pool ourselves and the hot tub is a pita...
