Hard to tell where to place her bed, perhaps move bed across to other side of room from where it is now. Love the green and pink. Put in a big mirror for her to dress up in front of or dance, what little girl doesn't want to do that. Big area rug. Good storage. Paint the doors white. Mostly, ask her what should would like.

A floor plan would be good. How old is she? What are her favorite things? What is her favorite color right now since it will chnge many times along the way? IMO a childs room should be done with their input since it is their space .

i love all those ideas. i have asked her what she likes, she wants baby pink and gray. i was thinking baby pink and gray bedding/throw pillows. ive tried her bed infront of her window but i feel that looks odd with the canopy? she is 6, sees me on her and wanted me to ask you guys what you think she should do

I would add 2 panels of sheers, to the floor. Put on a track or rod wider than your window for pull back, put rod higher above window, Looks a lot better finish. Love the pom-poms on sheers

Space is a lot like a small college dorm room. If you look at Ole Miss dorm room makeovers you will see a slew of fabulous ideas.
The cube holder use multiple fabric cube baskets. Use “name” dangle tags for storage identification within them. Blackout drapes with double sheer front and twinkle lights. Mount drapes at much higher than window level. Storage cushioned bench with large pillows and colorful area rug. Use multiple light weight placemats in Lacey type circular design for cheap wall design. Metallic plastic is commonly available. Can section off area of bed with drapery enclosure hung from ceiling and shelf unit as above headboard display. Use room as if it’s a studio apartment. Give an area for her own seating area, sleep area and play area.

If that's for 1 lamp, what you posted: too many textures with base and shade. The pom poms are cute - will you take away the capiz so cute fabrics would 'show more'? You/she might repeat pom poms in curtains, or a tiny item...
