This June, my Painter just applied two coats of BIN Advanced Shellac Primer on my brand new pine board&batten siding- the entire exterior of my home. He then put two coats of Olympic solid white stain over. Pine knots bled through in one month. Called Zinsser, only to learn Advanced is likely to cause whole house to peel. Should I get this all off my exterior siding now? And how, without damaging brand-new wood. Should I wait for peel and paint fail and won't that compromise my siding? Stormy, humid, wet summer, w in windy, snowy, cold NE winters.
