Control Technology: Is it a kitchen necessity?

Soft-touch close technology gives your kitchen the finishing touch, with silent closing action every time. Using Servo-drive, drawers and high fronted pull-outs can open and close automatically using an optional electrical drive, with a light touch or light handle pull.

As technology is ever-advancing, the kitchen is developing and adapting to become more and more efficient and intelligent. Do you have control technology in your kitchen? We would love to know your thoughts on it!

We did the servo on the trash pull out and I like it. Not sure why most people would need/want it on regular cabinet drawers. I don’t think it would be worth the expense of running the electrical for it.

The soft-close / self-close feature on drawers is quite sufficient IMO.

Not needed. I'm fine with being manual for such things. I also don't want to depend on the Internet in an area where I have limited cellular access, and when a storm approaches, WiFi and land phone also go down.

I have Control Technology. I personally and manually CONTROL what my tech does, especially in my kitchen. The results are (as far as I am concerned) stupendous.

However, by what the OP is asking... Absolutely NO.

I'm retired and stay home quite a bit so this kind of technology is not something we are interested in. I do love my range timer and other kitchen gadgets but I do not want to depend on the internet to cook dinner!
