I prefer the french pattern, especially for a lot of square footage, but it is completely a personal preference issue so go with whatever you like.

French aka Versailles would look 100x better than diagonal.

French pattern. The tiny triangle pieces at the coping edge may be problematic down the road if you did the diamond pattern.

I agree, larger SF looks nicer in French.

Thank you all, I just ordered the french pattern in Silver Fantasy , its charcoal, lite gray and sorta white. The silver had too much brown in it as my house is black and white.
