My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

kitchen floor vent location

We are adding an island to our kitchen and pushed back a closet to get space. That left a floor vent in middle of walkway. Where should we relocate floor vent? In front of closet pantry door? Or under island where stools and feet will be? I don’t think I’m capable of DIYing toe kick vent in the island. I could place it at end of island across from stove but seems like HVAC will be wasted with oven heating. Thoughts?

    Never in a floor in a kitchen- they get disgusting. Place it under a cabinet with a diffuser in the toe kick.
