transplant shock..interrupting the roots ability to move water.. and then you put it in the sun and heat ...

put it in full shade outdoors.. or back in the house.. and let it settle down and the roots recover ...

what will be.. will be.. as to long term damage ...

when you make changes ... you need to let the plant adjust to each individual cultural change .... outdoor gardeners call it hardening off .... [the cultural variables of a plant would include sun, heat, water, wind, humidity.. etc ...]

It doesn't look like much Perlite in there. Just so you know, for next time, the Perlite needs to be at least 50% to keep mixes fast draining, less than that doesn't help (even if using w/ mix marked for C&S).

Karen, I ran out, so the very top is mostly soil but the middle and bottom are a lot more perlite! But when I pick more up I'll sprinkle it into the top soil and mix it in a bit.

Layering components disrupts water movement through the root zone. Layers make things worse instead of better.
