Furniture options? And where?

Just got new flooring in and I’ve been stumped on what kind of furniture to put in this sitting room. We won’t have a tv in here. You have to walk through it to get to the master bedroom so I don’t want to be stepping around things every time I walk to my bedroom. I don’t know how much we will actually sit in here but I need something. any suggestions?
