My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Travertine floor in kitchen?

Hi there, is that actual travertine? If so, that's a brave choice for a kitchen! How much maintenance does it need?

    Hi, yes it's actual travertine. It's been in this kitchen for three years now and still looks fantastic!

    No maintenance has yet been required to the flooring yet.

    I only use travertine that comes out of Italy (or occasionally Turkey), as it is far the best quality.

    It was an expensive travertine to use but the quality was totally there.

    On this particular project the travertine was purchased through Forezzi in Claremont. But I use several travertine / stone / marble suppliers as it depends on their range and stock availability.
