This was sold to me as Original Stock i.e. divided from the original plant not tc. by Marco Fransen in Holland.

Apparently his father bought a piece when it was auctioned way back when.

It suffered crown rot a few years back, I managed to save enough for it to survive.

It's fairly slow growing, not many divisions but a nice size to the leaves now.

Looks great Dave and Cicely! Do you get reversions of ‘Gunther’s Rim’ occasionally? My. Plant is OS too from a Pennsylvania nursery (Russell Gardens Wholesale) who got it directly from Gunther Stark.

Yes, after the crown rot incident I was left with a few small pieces which I grew on.

If I remember correctly two reverted to Gunther's Rim and one of those subsequently died.

Hostahillbilly -yes! For some reason'Gunther's Prize' seems to frequently spit out these Green with yellow edged eyes which have been named 'Gunther's Rim'. You would think it would make equal amounts of all green or all yellow plants but I have never seen this.......all reversions seem to be green with yellow edge. This does not make sense to me but it is what I observed. In any case the short answer is yes, and you should divide out those reversions.
