I would install modern stainless steel hardware and replace the small backsplash with a full one. Then with your new appliances, I think it will give you a great updated look.

Have undercabinet lighting installed.

Agree with all the above although can’t see much of your floor. When picking new handles follow the shape of your refrigerator handles in brushed finish.

I agree - add hardware to the cabinetry, it's relatively cheap and easy. If the budget allows you can change out the counters, and then add in a coordinating splash. All of those items combined are probably less than hiring someone to properly paint your cabinets.

Agree with the others. Your cabinets are pretty. New counters and backsplash would go a long way, along with hardware.

Your cabinets are very nice. The kitchen needs a bit of contrast though. I'd replace the beige countertop with something near white. And I'd paint the walls a sage green or dusty blue. If you post more pics with the counters clear, I can do a mock-up for you.

what color are you thinking of painting the cabinets? do you want to change your counter? you could paint the walls, add an interesting patterned tile backsplash, add hardware to the cabinets and accessorize.. put some interesting stuff on top of the cabinets - pick a color or theme and use it and with your new appliances should look good.. what is your favorite color? choose and buy planters, pots, glass colored cabinet pulls and knobs, etc.. I love red so my small appliances (toaster, mixer, etc.) are red, my storage jars, utensil holder, napkin holder, S/P shakers, towels and bowls for fruit and stuff are red as well.. makes a difference... :-) this is not my kitchen but this is what i mean.. the red in this one is used throughout...

The current color of the cabinets is just not my liking, I wanted either something like white cabinets with white marble countertops or dark cabinets with I don’t know what color countertops.. might also be changing out the flooring to a wood like tile.. I’ve attached a picture of the floor now

I just think it looks older looking, I wanted something more modern

I think I'd paint the walls -- the current pinky-beige doesn't seem to work well with the cabinets -- something like the green shown above, which looks very nice with the cabinets, and then add hardware.

How long are you planning to have this kitchen or live in this house? Are you looking for a short-term fix, or would this be more long-term?

I like the blue paint. Pick your countertop, then pick paint color.
Are you getting a new refrigerator? If so, is it counter depth?

As far as being dated, not off from many new homes.

I would paint the cabinets and walls white ...get some chrome handles and leave the countertops alone . They look fine ! If it's not broken ....don't fix it ..! it's just a matter of color ..but a kitchen always looks great in white ...or white cabinets and light grey walls ...just a little difference ...or pick the lighter color in your countertops and paint the walls with that color ..to contrast the white cabinets ......endless options that do not cost too much .
