Thanks Embothrium, it has been neglected but recently with more light and watering it has got more colour back. The leaves are pretty dry but still malleable. Do you think it looks salvageable?

Going by these pictures only I would say it is dead - the coloring does not look like that of a live example.

Would need better shots of the base - it's something like an Areca or maybe a Phoenix Canariensis.

But one thing's for sure: it's shagged!

That's a dead Phoenix Date palm (most likely roebellini, the dwarf). (Definitely not a Pandanus.) It's beyond terminal wilt in my opinion.
