I am confused about the space. Provide a photo that illustrates the room. Where is the closet? Where are the doorways, where are the windows is there another location for the dresser?

There is so little space in this room, have you considered a bed with storage below it? Could you place a dresser in a walk in closet.

• Here are some more pictures - one of the bedroom with another tenant and the entrance to the bedroom in the second shot Is in the right. So you see it’s dark, and small. The closet in the bedroom is the brown door, we will be using the white closets going down the stairs on the left. There is no floor plan- only window is the one straight ahead by the steps. Make a right and you are in the windowless room. Crazy layout but it’s NY! Thank you so much for any color suggestions etc!

there is no window in the bedroom? that can't be legal. the space outside w/the window, is that just a landing area or another type of room?

do you plan on setting up your bed like the other tenant? where the other tenants black dresser is, is that where you would fit your dresser? doesn't look like there is room for two nightstands.

It’s legal- as no door between the two but a wide entryway. And the window space area is a tiny dressing room with three closets built in On the left. Currently a desk is there as seen in photo of current tenant,but I will be putting a vanity and chair.And yes, we will have the bed facing out into the room as in the first photo, so will have tiny nightstands or shelves.Room is small but the living room and kitchen above are amazing! Thanks for any help!

ok. if no space for actual nightstands, see if you can do a floating shelf. they even have sconces you can hang with a cord that plugs in an outlet.

agree about doing some nice bedding w/some color. jute rugs hurt on bare feet.

some artwork for the walls would help out too.
