I have shiny stainless on all my appliances. I am now choosing a wall hood for my gas stove top that is brushed silver. Would this work?

What do you mean by "brushed silver"? It's not really silver, so what metal is it? And your stainless steel appliances are most probably brushed stainless, I've never seen very shiny stainless. It sounds like it would work fine, but maybe you could post some photos?

Stainless is realy not shiny so not sure what you are talking about

Agree with the above. I would refer to our appliances as more 'brushed' stainless vs shiny.

I saw a kitchen remodeling that someone did last week and posted it here on Houzz. They had a very shiny hood and they had black appliances. It looked awesome! I tried to find the article but could not find it.

Can you take a pic of your kitchen? Sometimes a black hood would great. Otherwise I would match it.
