Hi Natali, absolutely remove the two recess light--they will only crowd your your planned pendants. Also, depending on their size--consider two large pendants vs. three smaller ones. You should also change the color of the white outlets in your lovely backsplash to ones that color coordinate with your tile. Lutron has them in designer colors. Sorry I took so long to post a finished pic. After using the industrial strength Goof Off, it pretty much took the finish and the stain out. I finished with sanding the entire floor with a belt sander (what a mess), i cleaned the sawdust up and stain and finished with polyurethane for floors. Turned out great, but what a job! next time i'd rent the equipment. would go faster and less mess if it sucks up the sawdust as it sands. Not bad for first time finishing a floor, no? I'm pretty happy with the results.

Are you sure you mean OSB? I've never seen it as a finished surface.

Nancy, were your glazed cabinets factory glazed? Mine are and I tried a small spot this week with some paint thinner, but it didn’t budge. The factory seal coat makes that tough. I am anxious to try your method if that’s the case. Im so mad I didn’t just do White cabinets 14 years ago! I’m in process of getting quartzite and new backsplash, but so many lighter colors yellow these cabinets. I want a warm neutral that will tone down the color.
