Hi i have 2 floor house and i already paint for gray owl on ground floor main entrance, hallway, laundry area -all are connected. but my gray owl paint goes up to the 2nd floor on our staircase. My problem now is what color i should possibly can use ? I am thinking about color BM OC 51 Intense white , bm white wisp 2137-70 or BM Hc 172 Revere pewter on our 2nd floor. the long wall in our stairway is painted gray owl too but i dont know about my living room/ dinning room and hallway which you can only use one color the way it designed this house. Its all like a one wall that connected to each other. Kindly help me please. Hope to hear advice from all of you . Thanks

How about Silver Spring? also you could lighten or darken Gray Owl and use that. would create a nice complimentary flow.

Lori A. Sawaya Color guru, are you available to opine on this? I Have experience with BM Revere Pewter in my own home, but have not seen it with Gray Owl.

Silver spring is a complementary color to Gray Owl..would be a beautiful choice for a adjoining room. If wanting to go in a green direction with the Gray Owl...look at Half Moon Crest really nice with Gray Owl and Thunder is a nice neutral tan...Good Luck with your beautiful Home.

Thank you for helping me Ms Home Interior ! I haven't sleep well for the past 2 months and I keep searching everyday to find match for gray owl . my husband like gray owl so ground floor is enough on that color. I am not a fan for a green color to be honest but I have to compromised to my husband.

And I do love your advise. I really appreciate it very much. Any idea for kitchen and 2 rooms? Thanks

So we originally had grey owl planned for our bedroom level and stonington grey for the main floor. We have now swapped it out and are doing grey owl everywhere. The light changes the look of it in different rooms but I love it so far. It is very easy to work with and pretty. I'm glad we chose all one colour.

Hi Alison and tqtqtbw ! thank you guys

Alison ,I have BM gray owl OC 52 on my entire ground floor. But 2nd floor I would like one color for a different one.

I will change all my door color and change my stairway light .

Then I would choose stonington grey as it is similar but a tad darker. Our ID selected both and there would be an area where the two colours met.

#3 would work for stairway if you have high ceilings in stairway area?

#2 is to long for over dining table with 8’ ceilings will not work.

    what are measurements on #4?

Good morning...just looked at your dining room image from beginning of post...I think the drum shade that I posted is a nice transitional look with your traditional furniture...the other chandelier is modern and may not blend well with the table set..just something to think about. Send me your email to zmom40@aol.com and I can send you a Houzz discount code:)
