Hi
I just moved into my new apartment along the lake. I have huge windows the whole length of the living/dining room combined. They don't run to the floor but are wide and occupy the whole length of the room.
I already have the curtain rods and mounting brackets installed. They are dark brown in color.
I plan to buy new set of drapes with grommets. The grommets in the new ones i am Planning on buying are light silver colored. A friend says that silver colored grommets and dark brown rods should not be mixed and that the grommets and rods should match. Is that true.
I did some research online and found out that the rods should match the darkest furniture in the room. I have deep burgundy sofa and dark entertainment center ( small knee high). Thoughts ?
