Anyone? Heeelp meee

If you could post pictures of the rest of the room it might help get more responses. Maybe artwork or plants? But until we see the rest of the space it is hard to guess.

Unfortunately your console is too short. It should be much longer than the TV for the whole thing to look less crowded. If this is where you normally park the children's things that doesn't leave much room for decoration. Without other pictures of your room there's very little to go on in order to give you truly helpful advice.

The console should be about 25% wider than the TV.

Here are other pictures of room. It is open concept layout with kitchen directly to the left when facing the TV and then the dining area comes off of the kitchen. It is pretty neutral.

I see what you mean about tv stand being too short now.

Also I don’t usually store toys by TV I keep
Them along adjacent wall. Since these pictures I have added cubby storage for toys.

I have 4 year old and 8 month old. I want my house to be “homey” where people feel like they can walk in and plop down on coach and stay while, where my kids can play and make memories. This is our first house so don’t have experience with decorating. Trying to read these forums and pick up tips

Scoot The TV to the right and incorporate it into a gallery wall. this is one of my favorite images from one of Jenny Komenda's old (NYC?) apartments...

A longer lower cabinet with some toy storage and thats it the TV is all that should be on that wall.

You do not need any decor in this wall IMO .

Thanks for all the ideas and comments - you guys are good at this. Sounds crazy but I never even realized tv was over to the left and I need bigger stand. Seems obvious now.

I just bought that Stand within the last year and the tv was a huge pain to hang so not sure how I’m going to change it. Might have to leave tv where it is and get bigger TV stand and try to sell old one.
