Dining room table help

I have an open layout dining/living area with the kitchen adjacent. The cabinets are cherry wood and counters beige granite (pic). The couches are beige (pic). I don’t know what dining room table to get (pic if floors). My husband wants light wood but I’m thinkMing darker. Any advice? Can’t do glass bc of baby
