    Thank you. Stairs are solid walnut done by trim carpenter. Flooring elsewhere is Shaw Extreme Nature Walnut.

      How did the carpenter achieve the look of making the stairs look 3”-4” thick? Is it a piece of 1x4 attached to the face and side of each tread? Thanks

      this home is amazing! I am trying to do something similiar for my stairs. I understand the treads are walnut, but what are the risers made out of? Are they painted and if so what color is the paint? How did you achieve the look of the stairs being 4" thick? Thanks!!
