mine is in a mason jar with hydrocroton & miraclegrow moisture crystal, it has recently put out a pendicule, it likes heat from below so putting it on a heating pad will help too

I've also heard that they like it wet but two of mine began to decline during our wet season. They were getting a lot of rain nearly every day. Eventually I moved them under the carport and only hand watered occasionally letting them get quite dry in between. They've recovered quite a lot and I've only just put them back out again. It's our dry season now but they're under automatic sprinklers, once a day. I don't know why other people have a different experience with them.

they like it just right - for the water. i bought one with lots of branches and it had tons of flowers. but some things came up my life and i didn't water it for at least 2 weeks. all of the flowers and peduncles dropped.

when i started water it again (weekly), it quickly rebounded. there are many peduncles, but no blooms yet. i haven't repotted mine - was too hard to remove the old soil which is peat-based. i feed weakly, weekly - just about.

it's really an easy grower. mine appears to be doing well. grows fast and large for me.
