A few new Valley's arrived this week

This week was much cooler and Jeroen decided to finally send my parcel. He made a hosta sale during summer and so I got a few more for my collection at reasonable prices. He always packs his parcels so carefully that it is hard work to unpack :-) and out come such beautiful and healthy plants...

V.Whale Rider is my favourite this time. An amazing colour and nice leaf form and lots of seed:-)

It is always funny how long the stalks are and the leaves seem to reach for heaven. He has only limited space in his garden and they grow close together and so each one seems to fight for it's share of light...they will get considerably lower next year...

V. Whale Rider would be my favorite too, such gorgeous combo colors and shapes...looking forward to more pics.

I dipped my toes into Valleys avail in US, can't wait to see what happens next year.

Are you going to keep them in pots? Overwinter?

lindalana, I will keep them in the pots, winters are usually not so hard here. I planted a lot this spring and then came the great drought and it was nearly impossible to water them properly. So they had to go back into pots, this way I could move them all to shadier places.

I was thinking that the pics you posted in my EE post were loaded with plants..now that I've seen this post showing us your latest new hostas it makes sense Lol..I love your new ones..large solid hostas are my favorite..

I'm legit jealous. I had to stop looking at the Valley hostas and Osiris ligularia b/c I want them all and we can't get them. LOL
