Front steps

Has anyone used Oakville stone treads for their steps? We are looking at 2 steps in either the Antique Limestone or the Hampton Limestone, in a 16 x 72 coping tread. We specifically are wondering if it is slippery on the winter and if it has cracked? Thanks so much!!
