In terms of a recommended installer on Long Island, we've done some work with a Build360 up in Long Island City. Not too sure where they are in reference to you, but they've been someone we've partnered with in the past. Alternatively, you could check the National Wood Flooring Association's (NWFA) to find someone closer to your location. Houzz's "Find Professionals" tool is also a good resource to check out, although not every pro is NWFA-certified. Hope this info helps!
