Remove the brass nozzles and soak them in CLR or Vinegar for a day or so. Try using a cutting torch tip cleaner that comes in different sizes group assembly that most likely you can find at a Home Depot or Lowe's or even take a nozzle and go to a local welding supply store and show them what you have and are looking for. With the nozzles removed flush out the tubing well with water supply or even use an air compressor set at no higher than 60 psi to blow out the tubing well. You may want to consider installing a small filter to the tubing at the point of connection. Worst case is you may just have to replace the brass nozzles.

Thanks...did pretty much that - last summer - first with fresh, white vinegar and then with the CLR. Trouble is, I don't have anything small enough to clean the micron-sized orifices. I did remove all the nozzles and let the tubing spout for a while and re-installed everything. Just this second had a thought! I've got my 40 year old Svea backpacking stove that has a tiny orifice cleaner as part of the kit. Now just have to figure out where it is....

How are things working out for you now? Yes I understand that you had flushed the system and sometimes it may take more than a couple of tries at it. Keep up with it periodically each year and you'll have better luck...as I'm sure you have that figured out as well my friend. Haven't found it...yet. Of course, in the depths of winter, it's not exactly a priority. Just have to figure out where the stove might be: in my old backpack (in the attic), in the car-camping gear (in the outside storage unit) or in my to-go bag (in the garage). Each requires an 'expedition'....

I've recently purchased some 30% acetic acid which I intend to use for control of mint that is intent on taking over the world - after conquering my garden. It is supposed to be a quick, all-organic kill. Should be just the thing for cleaning corrosion, too.
